Success for Aston bands at Heavy Music Awards
The 2019 Heavy Music Awards were held this week at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, London, and Aston mics users Architects became the first band to scoop two major awards at the same HMA ceremony, winning Best Album for ‘Holy Hell’ and also the award for Best Live Band.
Bring Me The Horizon won the gong for Best British Band. BMTH also use the British-manufactured microphones and their latest release, AMO, was recorded by Aston 33 member, producer and engineer Romesh Dodangoda.
The event was hosted by Laura Jane Grace and featured live sets from Cancer Bats, Loathe, Nova Twins and Delaire The Liar.
Architects have just completed a series of sell-out dates in Australia while BMTH start their USA tour on 10th October.
