Producer Dante Lattanzi and his 'Swiss army mic'
Producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Dante Lattanzi spent his youth on the road, opening for the likes of Green Day and Jane’s Addiction, before one day packing up and moving to New York to focus on producing. He now he runs his own studio, Caelum Music Production, while also composing music for big brands like HBO, Crayola and Lexus.
Recently Dante has been working with singer-songwriter and guitarist Troy Ramey. The duo defined their sound on Troy’s debut EP, “When The Lights Came”, which accumulated over 5 million plays on Spotify and landed Troy a spot on The Voice. They have continued working together ever since.
Dante uses an Aston Origin, Spirit, Halo reflection filter and Shield GN pop filter in his studio. He told us about his fondness in particular for his Spirit, calling it his “Swiss army knife” for its seemingly unlimited applications, from vocals to hand pans.
“It just sounded absolutely stunning… It really captured it beautifully and brought everything to life.”
