Aston at the 2020 NAMM Show - day one

The 2020 NAMM Show is live and kicking, and Aston Microphones are right at the centre of the action, the booth a magnet for the great and good of the audio industry and a host of artists, from Skrillex to Christina Aguilera, seeking out a close-up look at the ultimate boutique mics. Ariana Grande’s band stopped by, and even Al Murray came to say hi. And that’s all just on day one!

Centre-stage is the brand-new Aston Origin Black Bundle, a noir take on the mic that started it all, bundled with the Aston Swiftshield shock mount/pop shield, as a limited edition production set. Only 2000 of these beauties will be made, worldwide.

Industry favourites the Aston Spirit and Starlight have been grabbing loads of attention, as has the Aston Halo reflection filter – uber-effective even in the midst of NAMMdemonium.

But the other undoubted star of the show is Stealth, which has been short-listed for the prestigious NAMM TEC Award, and remains the most talked-about microphone in the industry.
