Valerie Ponzio - Life after 'The Voice'

After finding fame as a contestant on NBC’s ‘The Voice’, singer Valerie Ponzio is continuing her musical career journey by performing live and recording with her partner Mike Minjarez.

The couple are touring the USA with their live set, and recording a series of Country and Latin cover songs plus a new single, ‘Orale’ which will be accompanied by the couple’s debut video, filmed in Valerie’s hometown of El Paso, Texas.

“We are also releasing a super country version of the 90's Selena hit ‘I Could Fall In Love’ along with a music video filmed in Nashville.” Valerie told us.

Valerie’s distinctive Latin-American vocal style is captured throughout using an Aston Origin, her vocal mic of choice.

“We’ve recorded on U87’s and stuff like that, and I have not been as happy with the way a track sounds then we were with the Origin.”
