Alexandra Whittingham - classical artistry with an Aston Spirit

Aston artist Alexandra Whittingham shows how keeping things simple can sometimes give the most stunning results. Here the classical guitar sensation performs Agustin Barrios' 'Julia Florida' with just a single Aston Spirit condenser mic in attendance. This is what a great player in a wood-panelled room sounds like!

"I love using the Spirit, it works really well for how I currently record. I can get the detail I need and also a nice amount of room ambience." said Alexandra, who has also on occasions used Aston Starlights in stereo, trained on the fretboard and soundhole of her Christopher Dean guitar.
