James Young R.I.P.

We are saddened to learn that James Young, founder of Aston Microphones and the company’s former CEO, has passed away following a short illness.

Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and those close to him.  

James was the inspiration and driving force behind the brand from its creation in 2015 through to its 2021 acquisition by Music Tribe. He leaves many friends here at Aston and throughout the music and audio industries.

He will be greatly missed by all of us.
